Getting started

What is Prism?

Prism is a healthcare real estate decision-intelligence platform that brings site selection, property evaluation, and strategic decision-making into one integrated workspace.

From identifying opportunities and evaluating properties to comparing locations and presenting recommendations, Prism helps real estate professionals and healthcare organizations make more informed, confident decisions.

Every completed search becomes part of a permanent, accessible record, preserving the research, analysis, and decisions that shaped the outcome.

Who is Prism for?

Prism is built for commercial real estate professionals and healthcare organizations responsible for evaluating, selecting, and managing healthcare real estate.

That includes healthcare real estate advisors, physician groups, health systems, management services organizations (MSOs), specialty practices, and multi-location healthcare operators, as well as their internal real estate and expansion teams.

See who it's for

Does Prism replace the broker or advisor?

No. Prism is designed to enhance professional judgment, not replace it.

The platform brings property information, market intelligence, financial considerations, and strategic evaluations together in a structured, transparent format. This allows advisors and healthcare real estate teams to evaluate alternatives more effectively, communicate recommendations clearly, and make decisions with greater confidence.

Prism provides the intelligence. You make the decisions.

Is Prism only for healthcare?

Currently, yes. Prism is purpose-built for healthcare real estate, with functionality tailored to the unique considerations involved in evaluating medical facilities, clinical locations, and healthcare expansion opportunities.

Its workflows, evaluation tools, and reporting capabilities are designed specifically for healthcare real estate decisions.

Platform & Features

What is the Prism Index Score™?

The Prism Index Score™ provides a comprehensive evaluation of each candidate property, helping users understand how well a location aligns with the objectives of a particular healthcare real estate search.

The score incorporates two complementary perspectives: Strategic Site Viability, which evaluates a location's overall suitability, and Financial Fit, which considers its alignment with the search's financial objectives.

By bringing these considerations together, Prism helps users compare properties consistently, identify stronger candidates, and communicate the rationale behind their recommendations.

How are properties added to a search?

Properties can be added individually or imported from existing property reports.

Prism supports property information in PDF, Excel, and CSV formats, allowing users to bring existing property research into a centralized workspace without recreating everything manually.

Once added, properties can be organized, evaluated, compared, and presented within the same search.

How do the maps work?

Prism brings candidate properties together on an interactive map, allowing users to visualize locations, explore their surroundings, and compare opportunities geographically.

Users can switch between standard and satellite views, making it easier to understand each property's location and its relationship to other candidates within a search.

Explore site evaluation

Can Prism keep completed searches?

Yes. Prism preserves completed searches, including the properties evaluated, their associated information, comparative analyses, and the final site selection.

Rather than allowing valuable research to disappear into spreadsheets, email conversations, or archived reports, Prism maintains an accessible history of previous real estate decisions.

This creates a lasting institutional record that organizations can reference when evaluating future opportunities.

Can Prism export a PDF?

Yes. Prism can generate professional PDF reports that summarize a real estate search and its associated property evaluations.

These reports provide a convenient way to share information, present findings, and maintain records outside the platform.

The underlying search remains available in Prism, allowing teams to continue working with the information in its interactive environment.

Data and AI

What information does Prism analyze?

Prism brings together extensive demographic, healthcare, and market intelligence to support more informed real estate decisions.

The platform's analytical coverage includes:

  • More than 33,000 ZIP codes, with demographic, household, population, and workforce information.
  • More than 7.8 million healthcare provider records, geographically mapped and organized by healthcare taxonomy, specialty, and provider classification.
  • More than 100 million healthcare data points across demographic, healthcare, workforce, and market information.
  • Healthcare market characteristics, including provider distribution, population trends, and the competitive landscape surrounding prospective locations.

Combined with property-specific information and financial considerations, this intelligence gives healthcare real estate professionals and organizations a more comprehensive understanding of the opportunities they are evaluating.

Explore healthcare intelligence

Does Prism use AI?

Yes, for one specific task: drafting the written recommendation for a candidate — a summary, a rationale, its strengths and its considerations.

Scores, the Prism Index Score™, maps and comparisons are not produced by AI. They are calculated from the data and the inputs on the search.

How is AI used?

When an advisor asks for a draft, Prism composes it from the search itself: the care profile, the candidate and its catchment, the search criteria, the financial structure and the other candidates under consideration.

The draft is not saved until the advisor reviews it, and the advisor can edit or rewrite it before a client sees it. AI-drafted recommendations are included on Pro, Team and Enterprise.

Clients and collaboration

What can clients access?

Each client receives access to a dedicated Prism Client Portal where they can view the searches shared with their organization, including candidate properties, interactive maps, comparisons, recommendations, supporting documents, messages, and completed decision summaries.

Clients can also export available reports as PDFs, making it easy to review and share information outside the platform.

Explore the Client Portal

Does client access cost extra?

No. Client access is included at no additional cost on every plan. Clients are not paid seats.

Can my team work together in Prism?

Yes. Candidate status, messages and history live on the search itself, so advisors and their clients work from the same record.

Advisory groups that need several operators on one shared workspace use Team, which includes five operators and license management.

What is included in Free?

Free lets one operator run one real search for one client, with up to 20 candidate properties. Recommendations are written by hand; AI-drafted content is not included.

Free includes one search in total — completing or deleting it does not free another.

What happens to my work if I change plans or cancel?

Nothing you created is deleted. Clients, searches, properties and recommendations are kept, and the limits of your new plan apply to new work.

Security and support

How is access to my information controlled?

Sign-in is handled by Clerk, a dedicated identity provider; Prism does not receive or store your password. Every user belongs to an organization, access is governed by role, and client users work in a separate workspace limited to the searches shared with their organization.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Prism does not receive or store card or bank details.

Security & Data

Should patient information be entered into Prism?

No. Prism is designed for real estate, market and provider-registry data — not patient health information. Patient health information should not be entered into the platform.

How do I get support?

Existing customers can write to support@prismcvi.com or send a support request from the Contact page. Questions about plans, Team or Enterprise go to sales@prismcvi.com.
